We couldn’t pay using the barcode - there were no other options, we tried different options for 30 minutes - it worked. Probably only for resident phone numbers. Thank you very much, the local paid for it, and we paid it in cash.

Huge queue for only one ticket machine which lots of people found difficult to use. QR code for mobile pay only had limited options for bank transfers and not a huge selection of countries for a very touristy location. No google, apple or card payment.
Felt sorry for the parking attendants who essentially had no power or ability to help out. Could have given them a basic card scanner to take payments.
Card machine broke, had to pay for an additional hour. Parking attendants still didn’t let people out despite no way to pay. Machine was eventually fixed.

It was 1€ per hour for parking. Payments are accepted in cash or by card.

Normal parking, there are always free places.
