Avoid this handyman - irresponsible and unprofessional! His work can be described as rushed, thoughtless and irresponsible. I will tell you my experience. The door of the house was blocked, so we called this "master". He arrived, opened it, and to prevent the door from closing, he screwed it in - that would be the least of the problems. Offered to change the lock the next day for €130 (€80 for the lock and €50 for the work). I agreed. I also asked them to immediately change the second - upper - lock, which turns from the inside. He assured that it is not complicated and the whole work will take no more than an hour. And this is where the real problem started. When he arrived at work, he set about installing the lock he had, but he hadn't even measured it before. The diameter didn't fit, so they started drilling the door. Without any measurements, the drill "by eye" wasted a lot of time, and the holes still did not match. After an hour and a half of trying, we finally succeeded - but the door was left with holes. The second lock was not much better. After installing it, he noticed that it was screwed the other way around. Since he had already put the door back together, he didn't want to take it apart again because, as he said, "it already took too long." When I said that it didn't work for me, they still took it apart and tried to reassemble it. But in doing so he lost one screw and instead simply riveted one side! Not only that, but the top lock didn't work at all - the inside of it didn't line up with the axis of the lock, so it twisted and could jam. He himself admitted: "It didn't work out that way." Tried to "fix" something, but in the end only damaged the axle even more. Finally, he said that I can change the lock myself or call him again the next day, because it's already been three hours and the work is not only unfinished, but also increased in price from €130 to €150! The next day I went to the store, bought a top lock for €10 and changed it myself. And when I asked the seller why it was necessary to drill holes for the main lock, the answer was simple: "First you need to know the diameter, then buy the lock." Of course he didn't. Result: • A job that was supposed to take 1 hour took 3 and was left unfinished. • The door is riddled with holes. • The top lock is riveted and I had to drill it myself. • Handle and door are screwed with different wood screws. • The price went up, even though the work was never completed. Conclusion: complete unprofessionalism, irresponsibility and dishonesty. If you want to avoid damaged doors and additional costs - stay away!
